Virgin Group's Richard Branson reveals there will be a cheaper way to travel - In Space.

Plans Underway for “Cheap” Space Travel

Imagine having the opportunity to travel outer space. How exciting would it be to get a closer look at the planets and stars, as you zoom past meteorites and see Earth from outer space, now you just might be able to.

Virgin Group's Richard Branson revealed that there may be a cheaper cost in consideration to travel outer space.Virgin Galactic is a company which plans to provide spaceflights to space travelers and science enthusiasts with sub-orbital launches and space science missions.

Branson said the proposed air fee would be US$250,000 and would hopefully come in effect by the next 10 years. The drawback however is,  for low to middle class income earners, this will be too costly.

Virgin Galactic's spacecraft is launched from a large aeroplane, giving the spacecraft more speed and altitude than if it were launched from the ground.

The billionaire has combined his space travel plans with US television broadcaster NBC to launch a TV reality show in which the ultimate prize will be a trip into space.Virgin Galactic's mission is to make traveling to space more accessible and importantly more affordable. Creating "Space Race" was an ideal way to show that.
