Surrender to the intoxicating music and dance the night away in Havana

The beautiful island of Cuba just off the southern coast of Florida is one of the world's most exciting travel destinations. One of the main reasons for its popularity is the night life which is unlike anywhere else in the world.

The capital city of Havana in Cuba is a cultural mecca and much of the reason is the vibrant night life for which it is known. The centrepiece of this night life is music which can be heard pumping out of the city's dozens of bars and nightclubs every night of the week, every week of the year.

Of course great drinks and beautiful people are plentiful as well throughout the city's clubs, but without the deliciously irresistible and original Cuban music filling the night air the atmosphere just wouldn't be the same. So if you are fortunate enough to travel to this amazing Caribbean town, be sure you stop in and get your dance on at one of these exciting night time hotspots.

The Casa De La Musica - obviously (or not) translated as House of Music - is one of Havana's hottest venues for live music. Seven nights a week the best in local performers take the stage to provide the sounds and beats that make Casa's patrons dance until they drop.

If you truly want the one of the best places to dance, then El Tropical is the place for you. But be warned, this lively club is not for the faint of heart. With a nightly blend of salsa, merengue, and bachata beats, this place doesn't slow down and neither does the fun.

Callejón de Hamel is central Havana's answer to the question "where can people go for the most exciting local music and dance in all of Cuba?" This ultra-popular nightclub in the heart of Havana's Cayo Hueso neighborhood exemplifies the Cuban live music scene. Great drinks and even better dancing are the nightly name of the game at Callejón de Hamel and it typically stays open well after other clubs have closed for the night.

If you love to dance and you love salsa, merengue, cumbia, and other genres of Caribbean music, then you absolutely must add the amazing city of Havana to your bucket list.
