Take witness of one of the most popular beaches on Margarita Island.

Known as the biggest island in the Venezuelan state of Nueva Esparta, there are, in fact, a minimum of 50 remarkable beaches on Isla de Margarita. Fronting the Caribbean Sea, this island takes pride in over a hundred miles shoreline, many of which are still unspoiled and free from the touristy developments and crowds.

Nonetheless, Antonio Jordana features Punta Arenas in this clip, and describes it as “a nice beach in Peninsula de Macanao-Margarita Island, Venezuela on a very remote little town inhabited solely by artisan fishermen”.
